Can-Am Speaker Series to host Janet Mancini Billson Nov. 23

Janet Mancini Billson, Killam Visiting Professor in Canadian Studies (Bridgewater State University), and author of numerous articles and book chapters on resettlement, women, and identity, will give a presentation titled "The Global Refugee Crisis: Can a Broken System be Fixed?" as part of the Center for Canadian-American Studies Speaker Series from 3-4 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23 in Miller Hall 121 or via Zoom. 

Billson has conducted policy research since 1981, focusing on international development, social policy, organizational collaboration, and strategic planning. She is the author of several books on identity, marginality, refugee resettlement and integration, and social change.
