Campus community invited to be part of Western's strategic planning process

Western will host a set of public forums that will seek input into the university's Strategic Planning process.

The purpose of the open forums is to allow faculty, staff, and students an opportunity to give their views on topics the strategic planning committee believes are important as it continues its work of writing the university’s next strategic plan. Because President Randhawa has charged the university to think in aspirational terms, the committee wants to hear people’s visions for what Western can be and also need to hear how people view Western’s distinctions and strengths to build on and challenges to overcome. At the forums, facilitators will be posing questions on these topics. A member of the committee will take notes on the comments, but no names will be attached.
