Blood drive brings in 409 donors

The Western Washington University blood drive from Oct. 13 to 15 saw a total of 409 donors, 127 of whom were donating for the first time.

The blood donations collected at the blood drive are critical to maintain a stable blood supply for surgeries, medical emergencies, and for supporting patients battling life-threatening illnesses like cancer and leukemia.
