Black Student Union to hold heritage dinner Feb. 5

 The Associated Students Black Student Union will play host to the 19th annual Black Student Union Heritage Dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room on campus. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Harmonizing the wisdom of the past and the resilience of the present.”

The semi-formal event will feature performances by student groups and the band “Mutha Knows Best.” Jesse Moore, a Western alumnus currently working as a special assistant for public affairs at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will give the keynote address.

Tickets are $12 for students and $15 for general admission and are available through the Performing Arts Center Box Office.
