Bike to Work and School Day set for Friday, May 18

Bike to Work and School Day is just one week away, on Friday, May 18.

Next Friday, pedestrians and cyclists may stop by a local celebration station for a treat and prizes. Station attendants also will applause bikers and walkers as they pass.

Two celebration stations will be set up on the Western Washington Unviersity campus from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m.; one will be in front of the Wade King Student Recreation Center, and the other will be near Red Square.

Twenty other stations will be set up in the Bellingham area, with several more in further reaches of Whatcom County.
