Back 2 Bellingham, set for May 18 to 20, features College of Sciences and Techology
Break out the dry ice and rinse out the beakers! Back2Bellingham begins in eight days at Western Washington University, and the College of Sciences and Technology will be featured throughout the weekend.
Among the scheduled events is the "Science in Red Square" interactive science expo. Compression bombs are scheduled to go off each hour of the event. Also, visitors may tour the CST departments, check out the open labs and discovery demos and meet and greet the faculty in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering technology, geology, mathematics and physics/astronomy.
In addition to Science in Red Square, Back2Bellingham has more than 100 events including the BBQ on Old Main Lawn, Red Square Carnival, Party in the Library, Downtown Bash at Boundary Bay Brewery, “Rent,” improv and campus tours.
