AUAP students to share food, culture at Japan Night Nov. 21

Students participating in the Asia University America Program at Western Washington University will present their culture at Japan Night from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21. The event will take place in the Viking Union Multipurpose Room on campus. Visitors can enjoy festival games, origami, calligraphy, sushi-rolling, traditional clothing and more. Students will be preparing samples of favorite Japanese dishes.

This event is free and open to anyone who would like to attend.

The AUAP is an English language and cultural orientation program that offers students from Asia University in Tokyo an opportunity for a five-month study abroad at WWU. The goal of the program is to provide Asia University students with high quality English language instruction and culturally enriching extracurricular activities, while at the same time offering WWU students, faculty and staff unique opportunities for language and cultural interaction, exchange and involvement.
