Architect Kevin Kudo-King to speak in Design Department event Oct. 22

Western Washington University’s Design Department’s “Design View” speaker series will host architect Kevin Kudo-King at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 22, in Fraser Hall Room 4 on Western’s campus.

The talk is free and open to the public.

Kevin Kudo-King is a principal with Olson Kundig Architects in Seattle. As a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accredited professional and graduate of the University of Arizona’s School of Architecture, Kudo-King has over 17 years of experience in architecture and has managed residential, institutional, and commercial projects throughout the United States and in Asia.

Kudo-King’s current projects include the Bellevue Botanical Garden Visitor Center, Tacoma Art Museum Plaza redesign, the mixed-use Art Stable in downtown Seattle, and high-end residences in Korea and Taiwan.

The “Design View” speaker series hosts top professionals from the fields of graphic design, architecture, and product design.

The lectures and presentations are free and open to the public.
