The CHSS Dean's Lecture Series brings WWU scholars to the community
The CHSS Dean's Lecture Series takes faculty expertise and knowledge from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences into the community in an ongoing effort to foster closer connections, share intriguing and timely information and inspire conversations.
The lectures in 2015-16, held in Bellingham's City Hall, included:
- "A Critical Evaluation of the Fine-Tuning Argument for the Existence of God," by Hud Hudson, professor of Philosophy.
- "Nesting Boxes: American Communes and the Liberal Arts," by Holly Folk, associate professor of Liberal Studies.
- "The Lives of Veterans after Military Service: A Portrait of the Last 75 Years," by Jay Teachman, professor of Sociology.
