Finished the season with an overall record of 26-21 and was 5th in the GNAC with a 15-13 league mark…missed qualifying for the GNAC Tournament by one game behind Saint Martin’s…four players earned GNAC All-Star honors: Emily Benson (1st team), Kali Patterson (2nd team), Alexie Levin (2nd team) and Emma Blauser (honorable mention)…Benson finished with a singleseason school record 12 home runs (old record was 10 by Levin in 2014) and recorded the 3rd-most RBI in WWU history (45)…was a unanimous first-team All-GNAC selection and was named the NFCA Division II National Player of the Week for March 21-27 (.609/14-for-23, 11 R, 5 HR, 16 RBI, 1.961 OPS in 7 Games)…had a 16-game hitting streak March 4-29 (.509/27-for-53, 7 HR, 25 RBI) to fall just short of the 18-game school record…Patterson led the team and ranked 12th in the GNAC with a .377 batting average (63-for-167), the 10th-highest batting average in WWU history…also finished with 63 hits to tie for 3rd-most in program history…heads into her senior season with the highest batting average (.363/135-for-372) and the 18th-most hits (135) in program history…Levin ended her career being named to the All-GNAC team for the fourth time (was 1st-team selection 2013-15) after
batting .365 (54-for-148) in 44 games…ended her career with the 2nd-highest batting average (.361/196-for-543) in WWU history (176 games played), while recording career records in slugging pct. (.586), on-base pct. (.440), doubles (47), RBI (145) and total bases (318)…also recorded the second-most home runs (21) and hits (196)…Blauser hit 7 home runs (tied for 5th in single-season history) and finished her career with 13 homers (6th-most)…Makinlee Sellevold went 12-7 with a 3.24 ERA (64 ER, 138.1 IP) in 24 G/22 GS in her sophomore season (went 7-1, 2.57 ERA over her last 9 G/8 GS)…also hit .304 (35-for-115) with 10 doubles, 3 home runs and 26 RBI…in the circle ranked tied for 6th in the GNAC in wins, 8th in ERA, 7th in innings pitched and 6th in strikeouts (77)…will head into her junior season 37 wins (6th-most in WWU history, record is 48) and 177 strikeouts (9th-most)…Arianna Barrio tied the single-game school record with 5 hits March 26 at MSU Billings (G#2)…Taylor Clark (March 22-25) and Emily Benson (March 25-26) homered in three consecutive games…WWU tied the team record with 5 home runs March 26 (G#2) at MSUB…amongst GNAC team leaders ranked 5th in batting average (.308/4th-best in program history), 6th in ERA (4.26) and 6th in fielding percentage (.945)…led the GNAC with a .353 batting average with runners in scoring position.
