The “Great Conversation on Social Entrepreneurship,” sponsored by Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies during Back2Bellingham drew 70 participants from campus and two dozen VIP guests from Seattle and Bellingham business and nonprofit organizations.

The discussion focused on what the core of a curriculum might look like for preparing students to become social entrepreneurs.  The result was the sharing of substantive ideas of how to teach business skills to those with a passion for making the world a better place – for enhancing the common good – and how to teach social justice and ethical values to those with a passion for helping their companies give back to the communities in which they do business.
