The Strategic Management Executive Speaker Series brings to campus senior business leaders to interact with students and share their perspectives on Strategic Management and Leadership.

These speakers contribute directly to the capstone Strategic Management course, MGMT 495, as a guest lecuturer. In addition to speaking to the capstone class, these executives interact with selected students in an informal setting to discuss issues of mutual interest in business and economics.

In 2014-15, the speaker series brought to campus:

Carolyn Corvi, former vice president of Boeing, on “Strategic Decisions – Competing in a Duopoly.”

Bob Brennecke, a strategist for Microsoft Xbox and a WWU alum, on the world of gaming and entertainment.

John Bergen and Josiah Johnson, two founders of the data analytics firm Society Consulting, on strategy as it relates to their firm and industry.
