April travelogue to feature a peek at India

Marty and Gail Haines will present images of their recent travels to Delhi, Jaipur, Agra (including the beautiful Taj Mahal), Jaipur (tigers at the national park), the sacred city of Benares on the Ganges River and the tropical lakes and canals of the state of Kerala at the April Western Washington University Retirement Association meeting.

The travelogue, "Glimpses of India Today," promises to be an interesting introduction to the colorful and fascinating cultures of India. The event will be held at the Squalicum Yacht Club, 2633 South Harbor Loop, on Wednesday, April 20. Socializing begins at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation is scheduled for 7 p.m. Coffee and tea will be provided. A small donation is suggested ($2 per person; $3 per couple).
