Alumni Association to hold 'Brews with Bruce' beer-tasting event March 2

The Western Washington University Alumni Association has put together an on-campus beer tasting event they're calling the "Brews with Bruce Beer Tasting Social." This event, which is open to WWU faculty and staff, will feature beers from Boundary Bay Brewery, Chuckanut Brewery and North Sound Brewery.

What attendees will get:

To learn about and sample six locally crafted beers paired with delicious hors d'ouvres.
To enjoy a pint of your choice on us.
A "vintage" 2010 Back 2 Bellingham/Boundary Bay pint glass (if you're one of the first 30 guests registered).
To relax and spend the end of the work day with the President Bruce Shepard and his wife, Cyndie.

The cost is $7 for Alumni Association members ($10 if purchased at the door) and $12 for non-members ($15 at the door).

The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Western Wednesday, March 2, in the fourth-floor skybridge at the Academic Instructional Center on campus.
