Academic success workshops April 29 to link students to library resources

A half-day working mini-conference that connects students to academic success specialists within the Western Libraries in order to promote academic and research success will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, in Wilson Library 270.

The event is sponsored by the Libraries and by the Learning Commons.

Each hour will feature different specialists from a variety of areas:

  • 1 to 2 p.m.: Article Databases, OneSearch, and the Tutoring Center
  • 2 to 3 p.m.: Copyright,  Government Information,  Map Collection, and Heritage Resources
  • 3 to 4 p.m.: Citations and Zotero

Students are invited to come with questions or assignments, and leave with the tools that will help them succeed in their academic work.
