23rd Annual Employee Art Show to run March 13-17

Western Washington University will host its 23rd Annual Employee Art Show March 13-17 in Viking Union 565. This Employee Art Show is a long-standing tradition at Western and provides an artistic window into the talents of Western’s faculty, staff and retirees. Admission is free and open to the public.

Exhibit hours are as follows:

Monday, March 13, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Opening Reception 3-5 p.m.

Tuesday through Thursday March 14-16, the exhibit is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Friday, March 17 (closing day) 11 a.m.to 1:30 p.m.

The show features diverse works of art by talented Western artists. Artwork includes: jewelry, watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings, photographs, ceramics, sculpture, fiber, fine woodworking, blown glass, crafts and more.

32 artists will be featured in the show including:
Melinda Assink, Tonya Alexander, AJ Barse, Carol Berry, Phil Buly, Viva Barnes, Leanna Bowman, Susan Cahill, Gail Cowan, Jeff Davis, Julia Gassman, Leslie Hall, Pat Kuehnel, Yumi Kim, Jamie Lawson, Rhys Logan, Patricia Lundquist, Alethea Macomber, Lynne Masland, Hannah Nevitt, Kenneth Osthimer, Katey Roemmele, Karen Schreuder, Stephen Sulkin, Dan Sweaney, June Fraser Thistle, Cara Story, Lauren Townshead, Billie Watts, Michael Wilder and Tim Wynn.
