$18 increase of services and activities fee to be discussed at May 23 meeting

The Services and Activities Fee Committee at Western Washington University will hold an open hearing to discuss the proposed Services and Activities Fee level and distribution for 2013-14 at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 23, in Viking Union Room 567.

The committee proposes an S&A Fee increase of $18 per year and proposes that the available revenue from the fee be distributed as follows:

• Associated Students: 46.22 percent
• Athletics: 30.42 percent
• Campus Recreation: 7 percent
• Department Related Activities Committee: 16.36 percent
